Planning for travel is important for people living with diabetes, to ensure your trip is both safe and fun. You can email your travel enquiries to the Diabetes Educators

Please include your name and date of birth in the subject heading of the email. We will respond to your email within 14 days.

In the meantime, please visit the NDSS website for more information about travelling with diabetes.

If you manage your diabetes with an insulin pump and/or continuous glucose monitor (CGM), further information about travelling with diabetes can be found on the Diabetes Australia website.

Your Diabetes Educator or Doctor can provide you with a letter to confirm that you have diabetes and need to carry medication and other diabetes supplies. 

Arrange to speak with your Diabetes Educator and/or Doctor to ensure you have a current disconnection plan in case of pump failure.
