Dr Sylvia Ai is a specialist haematologist who cares for patients with both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions (general haematology). 

Dr Ai obtained her medical degree from the University of New South Wales and undertook her specialist training in Wollongong, St Vincent's, St George and Prince of Wales Hospitals. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia. She also works at Southern.IML as the supervising laboratory haematologist. 

She is a strong advocate for patient-centred care, believing in the importance of tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
